A Quasi: Experimental study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding health hazards of mobile phone addiction among students in selected school, Distt. Mandi (H.P.) 2019-2021

Smartphone addiction is an overuse of mobile device, usually quantified as the number times users access their devices. Aim study was to assess effectiveness structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding health hazards phone addiction. Quantitative research approach used with Non-Randomized pre- test post-test control group design. Non-probability Convenient Sampling Technique select sample. Sample size 100 i.e. 50 for experimental and group. Result revealed that Paired t-test in mean pre-test score t=35.39 which significant at 0.05 level significance. In t=0.58 non-significant Unpaired t=11.35 Significant correlation between, pre-knowledge post r=0.92 r=0.94 Association selected demographic variables not statistically significant. Conclusion showed Structured Teaching Programme effective improving among school students.
